We are pleased to announce that the Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration has awarded DJ&A a 5-year, $17.5M A/E IDIQ contract to provide engineering services in support of transportation projects within Central Federal Lands Highway Division’s (CFLHD) 14-state region. Of the five contracts awarded during this cycle, DJ&A was the only small business selected.

While this is DJ&A’s first contract with CFLHD, our team has long served the Federal Highway Administration’s needs under similar engineering IDIQ contracts with Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD). Since 1998, we have worked in close partnership with WFLHD to deliver more than 200 transportation projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. Our team has greatly enjoyed the opportunity these contracts have provided to work on challenging and complex projects in some truly remarkable places—everything from surveying in remote fly-in villages on the Bering Sea in Alaska to roadway design in Olympic National Park.

Under this contract, DJ&A will partner with CFLHD to deliver federally-funded transportation projects across public and tribal lands in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. In addition to highway design, our team will also provide environmental compliance, public involvement, land surveying, bridge design, hydraulics, and geotechnical services.

We are incredibly thankful to be CFLHD’s newest small business partner and continue to support Federal Highway Administration’s goals to make our nation’s transportation infrastructure safer and our public lands more accessible.
