DJ&A completed the structural design of a precast concrete bridge to replace the decaying and failing Bridge 354-0.9 in the Kisatchie National Forest. The current bridge, which provides access to thousands of acres of public and private time land and connects parish community roads to a local state highway, has severe decay and multiple failures to all bents of the superstructure.

The new bridge design consists of a pre-cast superstructure with concrete piles and bents and has been designed in compliance with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, FP-14 specifications, and Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development Standard Specifications for Roads & Bridges.
