DJ&A is seeking an experienced IT Manager who can maintain, support, and expand our computer networks with offices in four States.  The ideal candidate will be able to manage our WAN, LAN, SAN, and EDI computer platforms, while looking for ways to grow our networks in a cost-effective way to meet future needs.  The IT Manager will be responsible for developing network maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, managing the IT staff and keeping the Senior Leadership Team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company to succeed.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures (i.e., computer use policy)
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Design, implement and maintain company Cyber-security to meet industry standards, required certification levels, and the ever-changing security threat landscape
  • Research and implement technological strategic solutions
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Manage all information technology and company Cyber-security system-wide including branch offices
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Analyze group needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching staff, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Create and administer disaster recovery plans
  • Monitor and analyze alerts from various sources
  • Contribute to procedural methods and documentation
  • Work under minimal supervision
  • Be viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and acquiring and maintaining professional certifications as directed

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology operations and management, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • 1+ years’ experience in cyber security management
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, and databases and data storage systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems (Windows based including desktop and server operating systems) current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft 365 admin including Azure, Exchange Online and Sharepoint
  • Experience in standing up virtual machines (VMs), for a distributed workforce, and on premises servers that can be used to house internal data and client data
  • Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
  • Cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure), Microsoft partner certifications or status, and other cloud engineering certifications
  • Professional or system certifications

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated Salary Range: $70-110k (salary commensurate with experience); and
